Be careful with your build, but this is extremely useful
If you are using this, you can keep certain parts in place that may not work well with a fully removeable chassis install such as switches or pixel connector wiring. You need to plan for the very sensitive nature of this connector. If you need to run a power wire for your pixel connector then you want to ensure that your chassis is completely flush with the inside of your hilt; or you will want some sort of way to ensure the connection is made dead-center. In my build, I 3d-designed a chassis with a sleeve so that the lower half fit perfectly into the upper half, this way there was no chance of a short, (or worse). This part allowed me to have a removable chassis in a situation where I needed the pixel connector and the wiring from the control box to be static and there was no way to incorporate that into the entire chassis. I used this in a 2003 Master Replicas Darth Vader conversion. I also used the conversion part sold in this store.
