I picked this up while experimenting with shrinkwrapping it over a thickwalled diffuser blade on a pixel stick configuration setup. The goal was to 'orange' out the blade by blocking the white tube. Turns out that this is opaque and blocks way too much of the LED light to be any good, unless going for a glow stick. As a battery wrap (it's original purpose) a standard hair dryer was more than adequate to shrink this down. One just has to keep applying the heat until all the ridges and bumps disappear. I didn't see any tearing in my application. The clear versions didn't work at all for light diffusion.
