As soon as I first saw this part a few years back I wanted one. I finally got one last week and its so much better in person, and even better on my saber! I have it partnered with choke style 1 and it weilds like a dream, I had to add my own retention screw hole, but I did that with no problems. Also there is a slot cut inside to allow the light to shine through the small holes, but its dimmer than I expected... but its still awesome! This will always be one of my all time favorite TCSS parts!

Great design and aesthetic, and superb workmanship as usual. This thing screams vintage 70s/80s Star Wars universe to me. Also, mine did come with the milled ring inside which connects the holes you see into the blade holder space - excellent design update from the photo. I haven't fired it up yet but I suspect it will channel the light well to illuminate the holes to added effect.

Tim, I know it would be a pain but if those little holes around the blade could be drilled inward so that light could come from those holes aswell that would the bomb.
