Splurge on the diffuser foam

I'm really satisfied with this blade tube. In my hubris I attempted to make my own pixel blade with LED strip and packaging foam (the thin stuff you wrap fragile stuff in), but I'm going to try again with the appropriate diffuser foam because I didn't quite achieve what I wanted. It was difficult to get my custom foam wrap stuffed into this tube, and there are dark spots because my foam wasn't quite good enough. This shouldn't imply that I'm dissatisfied with tube quality, again, the tube is GREAT, but if you're making a pixel blade definitely spend the extra ~$10 on the foam that's made for it.

Amazing blade, used this blade to replace a blade purchased from another company and i had much better results. The clear blade really makes my tricree amber shine! I used plane ol cellophane for film and it worked like a champ

Quality material. It fits nice and snug inside the blade holder and the ends are nice and smooth. It can take a serious beating. My daughter has a bamboo practice katana and it held its own against that.
