The Best Sparring Blade holder.

Review by Morgan on 10/8/2019

For actual sparring, this is my favorite blade holder. It offers some decent angled protection for the hand, prevents the user from loosing their grip with sweaty palms, and the small holes around the blade socket emit a small amount of light.

Great blade holder to set it apart from others

This is one of my favorites out of the blades I built. The machined channel that allows light to enter the holes around the perimeter is also a nice touch. For the retention screw, I was able to tap the ring just below the flared section to get it as high as possible and in the thicker metal. Using the standard thumbscrew, there was plenty of room to get it to fit with no issue.

Comfortable and looks great!

This matched exactly what I was going for. Despite its rough appearance, choking up feels perfectly comfortable! The slot inside the emitter causes the holes around the aperture to light up a bit. Just that extra bit of pizzazz sets this emitter apart. Can't wait to have this build painted up and finished!

Great piece

Looks awesome when combined with a choke behind it. One of my favorite Blade holders, and a great eyecatcher on any style saber.

One of the best!

Review by Dr. Awesome on 1/24/2015

As soon as I first saw this part a few years back I wanted one. I finally got one last week and its so much better in person, and even better on my saber! I have it partnered with choke style 1 and it weilds like a dream, I had to add my own retention screw hole, but I did that with no problems. Also there is a slot cut inside to allow the light to shine through the small holes, but its dimmer than I expected... but its still awesome! This will always be one of my all time favorite TCSS parts!
