Aluminum cylinder shaped like a AA battery and covered in heat shrink for use as a dummy in our AA size battery holders.
An example of a use for a dummy cell is to put one in a 4AA battery holder along with 3 AA batteries to step down the voltage of the entire battery pack from 6V to 4.5V.
Do not put these in battery chargers as they will short circuit the charger and damage it.
